Korean American Scholarship

New Life Church of Chicago is now seeking applicants for our 8th Annual Scholarship Program.

Who Can Apply?
Korean American or other ethnic minority students who need financial aid and meet one of the following requirements:

     – Currently studying theology in seminary or graduate school
     – A pastor or missionary’s child who is currently enrolled in college or
     graduate school.
     – All candidates must have completed a minimum of 8 credits hours
     (graduate level) and 15 credit hours (undergraduate level) from the  
     accredited school and have a minimum grade point average of “B“ in the
     currently enrolled institution.

Number of Awards and Amount: 12 awardees and $ 2,000 each

Required Documents
(Can be written either Korean or English)
     – Completed application form – application form/information is available
     at www.newlife-chicago.com
     – Personal testimony & vision statement (two pages maximum)
     – Financial need statement
     – Two letters of recommendation from Senior Pastor and/or Professors.
     – Official transcripts from the currently enrolled institution.

Application Deadline: All required documents must be submitted to the church address and postmarked by October 31, 2009.

Award Announcement: 
Names of awardees will be posted on New Life Church of Chicago Website, www.newlife-chicago.com by December 13, 2009.
